Leptin's role in fat loss

Postby vlvinc » Fri May 07, 2010 2:31 pm

There is a lot of research showing a direct correlation between high Leptin hormone levels, body fat levels, and the number of calories eaten. Leptin regulates the brains desire to eat, or not eat. The more calories the higher the leptin levels. The higher a persons body fat the higher the leptin level the more the metabolism is active. There is also a link between leptin levels and HCG, as seen in pregnant women. HGC has been linked to burning fat, primarily because of the impact it has on the leptin hormone. Stay tuned to www.strategyforfitness.com for a blog on HCG and Leptin relationships and its impact on fat burning and muscle development.
